From a career point of view, this is the bare minimum qualification that you require to teach yoga as a registered yoga teacher (RYT) with the Yoga Alliance. Once you have completed your 200 hours yoga teacher training course from our RYS 200 Yoga School (Registered Yoga School), you will receive a certificate of completion and be eligible to register with the Yoga Alliance. This shall enable you to teach as a certified yoga teacher anywhere in the world.

Students or practitioners that have completed a 200-hour course by a registered yoga school (RYS) with the Yoga Alliance are eligible to take up this program. Once you have completed the training program, you will be a certified yoga teacher with RYT-300 certification.
Since you already have an RYT-200 certification, you will have completed 500 hours of teacher’s training program and be eligible for RYT-500 certification, once you have completed the eligibility requirements for that, i.e, a minimum of 100 hours of teaching experience.
